Fukkachan

The other day I received a familiar T-shirt from Tokyo Chemical Industry. Fuka-chan is waving the flag of “overwhelming synthetic power” instead of leeks. Although the meaning is completely unknown, the flag is very interesting.

Fuka-chan is a fancy animal between a rabbit and deer, from FUKAYA city in Saitama Prefecture. He often wears the hat of leeks and is a runner up for the Millennium Grand Prix.

Collaboration between Fuka-chan was due to the company’s factory is located at Fukaya City. Because Asako came from Saitama (not Fukaya), it was given to him. Top photo is him wearing the shirt happily. Thank you TCI!
