Visit by Yagi-san

On April 20, Ms. Akiko Yagi, Assistant Professor of Itami Laboratory from Nagoya University visited the laboratory. Ms. Yagi was in the same batch as our Assistant Professor Muto in Itami Laboratory. Then she went to Scripps Research Institute for 1 year as a postdoctoral and then returned to the laboratory as an assistant professor in March.

This time she came to Tokyo is to attend the 23rd Yomiuri Techno Forum Gold Medal Award Ceremony.

Oh! Such a big prize for a young girl! Actually, Ms.Yagi attended in replacement of Mr. Itami. In the future, I think that talented person will not receive the award!

That day was filled with lectures and meetings so I couldn’t talk much when she came to the lab. But, I later went to eat ramen with her which is her favorite. For the time being, I thought that a nice and slightly fashionable ramen shop for those who came from far away so I decided to go to Hiyama Takadanobaba store. Apparently it was delicious and it was good that it didn’t spoil the mood.

Thank you for spending your short time with us and delicious souvenirs! Lets do it again with all members of Yamaguchi Lab.
