Title: Synthesis and Properties of Rigid Chiral Skeletons and Their Derivatives with Boron-Containing Building Blocks

Dr. Jiao Jiao is an organic chemist at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China.
She received her B.S. (2007) and M.S. (2010) degrees from Shaanxi Normal University.
In 2010, she moved to Japan and pursued her Ph.D. studies under the supervision of Professor Yasushi Nishihara at Okayama University, where she obtained her doctoral degree in Science in 2013.
She then joined Professor Kenichiro Itami’s group at Nagoya University as a postdoctoral fellow, before returning to China in 2016 as a Lecturer at the School of Science, Xi’an Jiaotong University.
She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021 and continues her research there.

Dr. Jiao collaborated with Professor Junichiro Yamaguchi during her time in the Itami group at Nagoya University, where they co-launched the Chinese edition of Chem-Station, a major chemistry outreach platform led by Prof. Yamaguchi.
In addition to her research achievements, she has played a vital role in promoting the chemical community as the representative of Chem-Station (Chinese Edition).
